Nepal Mountain Academy has taken up the huge responsibility of filling the academic gaps in the mountaineering, mountain sciences, and adventure tourism sectors. I am happy to share with the prospective students that the academy has been trying to fill the gaps in all respects. Further, the academy is on the verge of opening other avenues of opportunities for the students through its international associations and relations.
The courses at the academy aim not just at providing the world's first academic mountaineering degree but aspires to create leaders among the students who could take up the responsibility to represent the Nepal Himalayas to the world. The academy has also taken a grand initiative of developing a world-class mountain training/ research centre based on Garma, Solukhumbu so as to facilitate and support diverse mountain trainings and unforeseen researches.
As the campus chief, I would like to heartily welcome all the concerned and interested students to pursue the BMS and MATS courses at the academy.
