In the presence of Hon'ble Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr Yogesh Bhattarai, an institutional accord was signed propelling a bilateral collaboration to exchange academic and technical assistance between Narayani Secondary School, MauwaKhola VNP and Nepal Mountain Academy. With this initiation, Tourism and Mountaineering education at the secondary level has also started in Taplejung and is seen to be receiving critical acclaim and acceptance from nation-wide secondary schools.
Executive Director and Campus Chief Mr Romnath Gyawali, BoD member Mr PK Sherpa and Academic Coordinator of MATS Mr Tanka Prasad Poudel represented the Academy to the Principal of Narayani Secondary School, Mr Ganesh Bahadur Prasai on this institutional correspondence today (25 Kartik, 2077).
